This is the 14th year Nevada Business Magazine has published the Legal Elite list, which consists of lawyers that have earned esteemed recognition from their peers and obtained successful results on behalf of their clients. Out of nearly 9,200 active member attorneys in Nevada, only the top 3 percent in several locations throughout the state are selected.
About the Selection Process
The lawyers who made the list did not only receive enough votes to be eligible, but they also underwent several stages of analysis and verification before being mentioned on the annual Legal Elite list. The scores each nominee earns come from either their own firm or another firm.
Once the scores were calculated, the top vote-getters encounter another series of verification based on each attorney’s standing with the Nevada Bar Association and other legal information. The few who passed every stage of the process earn the honor of being named a Legal Elite lawyer in the Silver State.
